MonthlyTrack ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
MonthlyTrack is designed as an offline-first application. Most data remains stored locally on your device.
a) Google Account Information (If You Use Google Sign-In)
If you choose to sign in using your Google account, we may access limited information provided by Google, such as:
Email address
Basic profile information (such as name or profile photo)
This information is used only for authentication and account identification inside the app. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties.
b) Local App Data
MonthlyTrack allows users to manage information such as:
Expenses
Attendance logs
Product counts
Other records entered by the user
All such data is stored locally on your device's internal database and is not transmitted to external servers.
c) Biometric Authentication
If you enable Secure Edit Mode or Cell Lock, the app may use your device’s biometric authentication (such as fingerprint or face unlock).
We do not access or store biometric data. The app only receives a confirmation (success or failure) from the device’s operating system.
d) Files and Media Access
The app may request access to device storage when you choose to:
Backup your data
Restore data
Export PDF reports
These files are saved directly on your device (for example, in the Downloads folder).
2. How We Use Your Information
Information is used only to provide app functionality, including:
Authenticating users through Google Sign-In
Calculating expenses, salaries, and totals
Generating PDF reports
Creating local backup files
Sending local reminder notifications
We do not sell or share user data with advertisers or third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Most app data is stored locally on your device using a secure local database (such as SQLite/Room).
No Automatic Cloud Sync
MonthlyTrack does not automatically upload your data to cloud servers. Users manage their own backups using the Backup & Restore feature.
Security
We implement reasonable security practices to protect stored data. However, no electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
4. Third-Party Services
MonthlyTrack may use Google Sign-In services for authentication. These services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's privacy policies.
The app does not use advertising networks, analytics tracking, or third-party data collection services.
5. Account Control and Deletion
Users can stop using Google Sign-In at any time by removing the app's access from their Google account settings.
If an account is created through Google Sign-In, users may request account or data deletion by contacting us using the email below.
6. Children’s Privacy
MonthlyTrack is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised date.
